ISSA Des Moines is the community of choice for Iowa-based cybersecurity professionals dedicated to advancing individual growth, managing technology risk and protecting critical information and infrastructure.

The ISSA Des Moines Chapter is the local chapter of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)®, which is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members.

Stacy Baker, GWAPT

President

Stacy has worked in Information Technology for 25 years in the Insurance and Financial sector. As an Assistant Director of Engineering at Principal Financial Group, she leads Vulnerability Management where her team provides Offensive Security testing services for the organization. In Stacy’s career at Principal, she’s led several application development teams, been a developer, and been in Information Security for 10 years.

Andrew Leef

Vice-President

Andy is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with 15+ years in the space. Ever-curious and an avid technologist, he loves to help solve problems in many different ways. Currently an Advisory Solutions Consultant for SailPoint Technologies, he also brings private company Board experience as a Cybersecurity Advisor and Director. In his spare time he volunteers with Electronic Frontier Foundation and the CyberPeace Institute to help provide technology resources to those in need. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, working on cars and chasing around his energetic toddler.
